I met my business partner, Jacob, as a young boy, having known his dad for many years. I was blessed to become close to the whole family and feel honored to have witnessed him grow up to become truly a one-of-a-kind individual.
Previously, I had a small side business that began in 2007, creating slideshows for various events. In 2014, I came up with the idea of unique photo collages to be able to display more photos and add meaning in one print and one frame!
Over time, Jacob and I have collaborated on many creative projects for friends and family. I learned quickly how well we worked together and complemented each other's God-given gifts. He is unbelievably organized, disciplined, responsible, loves challenges, is creative, and best of all, he is a young man of God.
We repeatedly got feedback from those we gifted our various projects to that we should go into business. That led to the beginning of DJ Creations!
While coming up with our motto, with similar views of life, we almost said it in unison. God, Family, Country, Friends, Blessed!
The partnership I have with Jacob works out perfectly for us - his primary interest is finance and marketing and mine is all things creative, although he is more than capable of helping with projects when needed.
I am deeply appreciative of the value family and friends are in our lives and the importance of letting those we love know. I feel that strongly about creating true representations of creative works that honor those who have passed on. What we offer with our business does just that.
We have put God first throughout this entire process and it has brought us so much joy!

You may be wondering how DJ Creations came to be. Here’s my side of the story, summed up in a few paragraphs! I met Debbie, a longtime friend of my dad’s when I was 10 years old, and we’ve been close since the day we met. My dad and Debbie had lost touch years back but reconnected after the tragic loss of her husband, Jerome.
Since she has come into our lives, she has blessed our family in more ways than I can count. As time has gone by, our friendship has only gotten stronger. I think of her as a second mom.
Since we’ve known Debbie, she has specialized in creating unique photo collages and slideshows. My family and I have been blessed and gifted with a variety of said creativity - but only God knew that it would lead to this…For my dad’s 50th birthday in 2021 - Debbie asked if I wanted to join in on the creative process to make him a surprise slideshow and collage of his life. Without hesitation, I was more than happy to help and loved the idea! Since then, she has taught me everything I know. After doing more of them together, we realized that God was pushing us to join forces.
She is unbelievably talented at the creative side of it and although I love helping when I can (and of course, vice versa), my work is specific to the finance and marketing side of the business while Debbie specializes in the creative and design side.
We knew that as Christians and with God at the center of this venture, it would not only be a blessing to us, we pray it is a blessing to you and your loved ones as well. Thank you for supporting our business and taking the time to read our story. God bless you!
